For more than 30 years, Track 'N Trail has brought the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour to Edmonton, giving local audiences the chance to see inspiring adventure films on the big screen.
The World Tour brings a selection of films from the annual Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival to audiences around the world. Each program features a mix of stories about mountain culture, outdoor sports, exploration, the environment and the people who take on challenges in some of the world's most remarkable places.
The 2026-27 Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour begins in December 2026, following the annual festival in Banff. From there, the tour travels to venues across Canada, the USA and more than 40 countries worldwide.

The World Tour is a showcase of short films rather than a single feature-length movie. Each screening brings together several stories in one show, taking you from remote mountain ranges and climbing routes to rivers, trails and communities around the world.

A: We aim to make both programs filled with an equal amount of action and adventure.
A: Yes, there will be an intermission approximately halfway through the show.
A: Usually the program will have a rating of at least PG but can be upwards of PG13. If foul language and intense/dangerous scenes are of concern, viewer discretion is advised.

A: Any tickets not picked up ahead of the show will be brought to the theatre. They will be available at the Will Call table. To avoid this line, feel free to pick up your tickets before the day of the show.
